Our story

We have our Yaya (grandmother)  to thank for finding this wonderful place and building this beautiful home. The villa's name is a combination of her favourite things:

- KA/STE/LI - the castle or 'kastro' in Greek after our picturesque Venetian castle, Stergios after her son and Lilian after her daughter.

Now, my grandmother's legacy is continuing as we have turned our magical summer home into a place for others to enjoy as well. Surrounded by olive, pomegranate and fig trees, the small village of Mekounida is quaint and authentic. The eagle cries, sheep bells and cicadas punctuate the quiet atmosphere and the terraced garden holds many secret spots to explore. Retreat and get back to nature.
